Marco Mercanti

Marco began his career as a corporate and business lawyer. He established the Global Art Law division of Crowe Horwath International, a leading global network of Audit, Tax and Advisory services firms, in 2011 and then founded Oblyon Group in 2015.

Oblyon Group lends and invests in and against alternative assets such as Artand Collectibles, the Music & Sports Industry, Real Estate and Fin-tech start-ups.

Marco primarely works with individuals, investment funds, investment banks, family offices and estates.

He regularly speaks at investment conferences and lectures in Universities as ESADE Business School in Spain, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milano and Università di Roma Tor Vergata, where he also obtained his PhD.

Marco developed his family passion for art, collecting antiquities and old masters, into an expertise and a meaningful investing reality.


James Row

James C. Row, CFA has over 25 years of experience in various areas of deal structuring and energy finance, including: producer finance, project finance, drilling programs, A&D, securities and risk management. He has originated and arranged funding, debt (senior and mezzanine) and equity, on over $10 billion of energy projects. At Enron, Mr. Row specialized in structuring bids for power, E&P, energy services and water privatization projects worldwide.

Jim is a Chartered Financial Analyst and maintains Series 7, 24, 28, 63, 79 and 99 FINRA securities licenses. Mr. Row serves as a member of the Houston Society of Financial Analysts, Houston World Affairs Council, Houston Producers Forum,TMA, IPAA and AIPN and is an author on a number of oil and gas issues and a regular speaker at energy conferences world-wide.


Francesco E. Murgiano

Francesco Murgiano has matured thirty years of experience in finance and private banking. He worked eleven years for JP Morgan Milan (‘87 – ’98) first as the economist of the Treasury Division and then as the head of investments & business development for Asset Management. He was also a member of the Management Committee of the Italian Branch.

Entrepreneur between ‘98 and ’16. He founded his own companies and covered several activities in the fields of portfolio management, financial advisory for institutional investors, companies’ reorganizations and selection of start ups. He covered recently (January '17 – february '18) the position of Head of Investments for Schroders in Italy. He is now in Banking.


Francois Laurent-Renet

Francois Laurent-Renet has built his career in a variety of roles and industries around the globe, all with an eye toward marketing, branding, business development and customer relationships. His expertise in emerging technologies and a tech-savvy approach to business has allowed him to continuously hone his core skills and sharpen his focus on the use of Artificial Intelligence, Augmented and Virtual Reality, Social Media and SaaS platforms for deployment in the areas of risk management, client experiences and operations.

Francois has launched several businesses in Fashion, Art and most recently in Leadership and Technology as the co-founder of online education app, H3. Francois also mentors and advises startup founders in industries such as Health and Wellness, Sustainable Energy and Recycling, High Tech, Luxury, Travel and Real Estate Development.

 

Luca Fedele

Advisor

Luca is Portfolio manager at Quadriga Asset Managers. Prior to joining Quadriga in October 2020 in Madrid, Luca was a Portfolio Manager at Banchile Inversiones for 9 years between Santiago and London where he was Chief Investment Officer of the Banchile Inversiones Alternativas Fund and previously was in charge of the structured funds at Banchile, where he gained experience on structured notes and OTC options trading. Prior to joining Banchile in 2011, Luca worked as asset allocation analyst at Credicorp based in Chile since 2010. Luca has a Masters and Bachelors Degree in Finance from Bocconi University in Milan and holds the CAIA designation. Luca is fluent in Italian, English, and Spanish.

Dan O'Neill

Head of Media

Dan co-founded Oblyon Media with Marco Mercanti in late 2020. His role is to define strategy, manage client relationships and ensure that the Media division creates new alternative investment opportunities for Oblyon clients. The Media group will encompass Film and Television initially and Music in due course.

In early 2018 he co-founded Signia Creative with Signia Wealth, creating a new approach to deliver innovative wealth management solutions for creative entrepreneurs.

Prior to 2018, he built a talent management business and was the architect of the inventive global 360 partnership deal between Bacardi and electronic artists Groove Armada. As the CEO & Chairman of London's celebrated Lovebox festival, he developed and implemented the strategy that saw the business grow 500% before exiting the business, via a sale to the largest music promoter on the planet, Live Nation.

Between 2015 - 2017 he was invited to become a board member and shareholder at Centtrip the award winning, disruptive Fintech global currency account.

Dan is a creative sector innovator with wide ranging experience across multiple industries.

He is also a long suffering season ticket holder of Brighton & Hove Albion and fervent foodie, a passion that led to him founding Sourced Market in 2009.

Jordi Tamayo

Head of Sports

Jordi Tamayo started his professional career as a corporate and M&A lawyer in Spain. Following his experience in different sports transactions he established the sports and entertainment department in AddVANTE in April 2012. He has experience in advising athletes, clubs, federations, investors, national and international sports companies.

Jordi has a political science and sociology degree (University Autonomous of Barcelona), law degree (University of Barcelona), master’s in international business law (ESADE) and an executive master business administration (EAE Business School).

Jordi is counsel and responsible of Oblyon Sports segment.
